Mr. Palmer began his litigation career in 1966 on the opposing side, advocating on behalf of defendants involved in personal injury disputes. He defended numerous personal injury cases and was mentored by one of the country’s leading product liability attorneys. In 1970, however, Mr. Palmer was ready for a new challenge. He left his defense practice and began to handle claims on the plaintiffs’ side, working alongside one of the leading personal injury attorneys in Kansas.

After a decade on the plaintiffs’ side, Mr. Palmer formed his own practice (Palmer Law Group) representing Kansans injured by automobile collisions, faulty products, and medical malpractice. Since its inception, Palmer Law Group has sought to provide first-class representation to injured Kansans. We are well-prepared, willing, and able to fund any case against even the largest, hostile defendants. If we believe a claim has merit, we will see it through to trial, and through the appeals process, if necessary. We have earned a reputation as aggressive litigators, allowing us to negotiate favorable settlements early in the litigation process.

Our clients have always been our first priority, and we believe in maintaining open lines of communication so that they are kept well-informed as their case progresses. We spend significant time and effort developing claims to ensure they have merit before undertaking representation. Even if we do not undertake representation, we believe that it’s important to provide potential clients a comprehensive review of their claims, as well as the reasoning behind our decision.

We are committed to giving back to the community. Palmer Law Group attorneys are active in organizations that promote the justice and better trial practice, have served on ethics committees and on the Supreme Court Nominating Commission, and are active in various local, state, and national organizations dedicated to advocating injured plaintiffs. We have argued in front of the Kansas Court of Appeals, Kansas Supreme Court, US District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals. In so doing, we’ve established precedent in areas of products liability, professional liability, premises liability, governmental liability, automobile insurance, gun owner liability, insurer bad faith, and consumer protection.
